Arlene Grubbs’ story is providing safe, affordable housing in Allegheny County

Arlene Grubbs has been an advocate for transitional housing for homeless women and children since 1989. Through her service, she became a founding member of HEARTH. For more than 20 years, she has met and overcome many ostacles as the agency has grown into one of the most important transitional housing programs in Allegheny County.
